We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about the snow and how to make sure our clients and walkers are safe in these crazy conditions. Many of our blogs have been about keeping your dogs safe in the weather–from salt on their paws to sledding with the family.
Well, now it’s time to give a shout out to all of our kitty clients out there. We are a dog walking and pet sitting business and many of our clients are homes with cats who need to be cared for when they are away.
When bad weather hits, it is up to us to make sure that each pet is taken care of even when their owner is out of town. For our clients who are gone but have left their cats at home, we often reach out to them to see what they prefer we do when bad weather hits. If they are out of the country, we make the best decision we can for their pet while they are gone.
Our number one priority is always the safety of each client’s pet. If a small storm is hitting, it’s not as big of a deal, but in the past couple of years we’ve had some storms which threatened us being able to visit for over 24 hours. Thankfully, many of our walkers and pet sitters have stepped up to the plate and made sure that all of our clients’ pets are well cared for.
Our relationship with our clients is as important as the one we have with their pets, and Pico here from Annapolis can attest that we do the best we can for each and very client–whether feline or canine!
