Earlier this week we wrote a blog about things to consider before taking your pet out to a summer event. The post was really meant to help you think through what might come up if you bring your pet out and about. Now that you’re all read up, if you think you’re ready to take your pup for an outing, we have a great spot for you.
Annapolis is known for being much more than the capital of Maryland. Those who live in nearby areas like Edgewater, Odenton, Crofton, or Bowie know that it is one of the most dog-friendly areas around. It’s a great alternative to Baltimore or Washington DC if you’re looking for something a little quieter and low key.
Annapolis is such a dog friendly town many of the shops have treats and water available for your pet. Walking down the street, you often see dogs of all varieties enjoying themselves.
Outdoor seating is ample around Annapolis and those of us who know Annapolis agree it’s a great place to sit outside and enjoy a meal with your pet.
Rams Head in Annapolis takes dog friendly to a new level. Not only do they have a very dog friendly outdoor seating area, but they also have a menu specifically for dogs.
The “Doggie Menu” features Bowser Beer (a non-alcoholic treat), Mutt Meatballs, and Rover. We should mention that the Rams Head menu for people is a little more extensive and makes for a great evening or afternoon out. For more information, including events at Rams Head, check out their website.
So, if you’re looking for a great outing in Annapolis with your pet, we highly suggest you check out Rams Head and their Doggie Menu. We don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
