Tails on Trails is a great place to work! We are a premier dog walking and pet sitting service that operates mostly in Anne Arundel County and in parts of Prince George’s and Howard County. As we continue to grow, we need more great walkers!
We are looking for an animal lover to come to work with us as a part-time dog walker and pet sitter in the following areas: Odenton, Bowie, Crofton, Severn, Laurel, Hanover, Arnold, Pasadena, and Severna Park. Walkers are assigned to certain areas and work within that geographical area.
We are looking for a caring person, with documented pet care experience, not necessarily as a previous pet sitter. If you have been a previous vet technician, worked at a kennel, or been a groomer’s assistant, we would love to talk to you!
We are looking for someone to work 0 – 10 hours a week, broken up into 30 minute to two-hour increments, depending on needs. Hours vary, and are combinations of morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You won’t need to work all of the time frames listed, but some combination each week. This is a part-time job providing supplementary income.
We work in teams that will enable you to have rotating holidays off, but because we are pet sitters, we need to be available when people go away – holidays and weekends!
This is a job that requires going from client to client, so reliable transportation and the knowledge that driving to and from clients is the nature of the business. Please only apply if you are comfortable driving to multiple clients during your shift.
