Here are at Tails on Trails we work hard to show our dog walkers and pet sitters just how much we appreciate them.
We do this because they are absolutely fundamental to everything we do. It is because of them that we are the premier dog walking and pet sitting company for Anne Arundel County.
We’ve done a number of different things in the past for our staff including group movie nights, dinner together, bowling, and a happy hour. We’ve done a couple of more formal things like our annual staff meeting last year and some fun training this summer.
This fall we’re planning our first ever company picnic and we’re looking forward to a very exciting event! The event will be Sunday Oct. 12 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Downs Park in Pasadena.
We picked Downs Park for a number of reasons. They are dog-friendly and have a dog beach–a great resource for Anne Arundel County’s dog community. It’s also a great location for our walkers coming from Odenton, Annapolis, Edgewater, Crofton, Hanover, and more.
We’ll have an exciting afternoon of volleyball, games, and BBQ. We’re expecting between 35-40 people with many of our walkers bringing kids and significant others.
The picnic is going to be catered and our dog walkers and pet sitters will be able to hang out and get to know one another a little better. We really think a break from the consistent call of duty for Tails on Trails will be a perfect opportunity for our staff to get to know one another.
The fun is planned just in time for our 5 year anniversary and we’re very much looking forward to the afternoon getting to know everyone better!
