Pasadena Tick Neck Park Dog Walking

When you have a dog, you pretty much have a best friend for all occasions. You have a co-pilot for long road trips, a companion for walks in the evening, and someone to always greet you when you come through the door.

Living in Anne Arundel County, Maryland with such close proximity to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington D.C., you might find yourself constantly looking for something new and exciting to do with your companion.

Longer day trips are plentiful in the area! Options are so wide ranging, that if you’re faced with a free Saturday you might plan a trip to pet friendly Frederick, a day trip on the water with Watermark or a visit to Historic London Town and Gardens all with quite a bit of ease and convenience.

However, for those days that you want to stick close to home, when you want a lazy Sunday spent making breakfast or catching up on your DVR, a park close to home is a perfect option. Many of us are aware of parks in our own neighborhoods, or cities. These areas of green space are an invaluable resource on a day to day basis.

If you’re living in the Pasadena area, there’s a good chance that the park you like to visit for your lazy Sunday outing is Tick Neck Park. Tick Neck Park is a part of the Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation and a Department of Natural Resources Open Space Project.  It doesn’t have a lot of frills with a couple of fields, a playground, and a little over a mile of paved trails.  But for a quick outing close to home, this park in Pasadena is just perfect for the surrounding communities!
