5 k to the bay community Tails on Trails wants to provide the best service in Anne Arundel County when it comes to dog walking and pet sitting. But we want to do more than that. We believe supporting our community is important and central to what we do. Being a good neighbor than simply doing your work and keeping your head down. So we’ve been getting out more–lifting our head up from the work we do and hanging out with others in the community. And it’s been a lot of fun.

For this reason, we are finding ways to get out and support the community. In early April we participated in the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s 5K to the Bay. We were a sponsor for the event and even had 3 staff members participate in the run. At our table we had materials related to Tails on Trails, but also we had the cutest bandanas that any dog ever saw. It was a great event and we had a lot of fun!

Being out in the beautiful weather was one perk, but getting to see all of the great work other organizations in Anne Arundel County are doing was another. 3 cheers for the work the Chesapeake Bay Trust does to support the waterways!

We are now looking forward to another great event in the community. The Walden Country Club is going to host a Pups on the Porch event this upcoming Sunday, April 26. From 4-7, there will be music, drinks, and appetizers for pets and their well behaved people. Tails on Trails plans to hang out for the afternoon and support another great community event.

Have an idea for an event Tails on Trails could join? Let us know, we’d love to hear it!
